Adding a Voki
Two of our libraries have added a Voki to their site. A Voki is basically an avatar that has animation and talks. An avatar is an online personality. To see their Voki’s in action go to Stanton County’s or Hamilton County’s KLOW sites. Click the play button on each Voki to get the full effect.
The Voki is a widget that can be customized and added to a sidebar on your page. This is how Hamilton County and Stanton County incorporated into their pages. It can also be added to any page on your site. The directions below tell how to add a Voki to a KLOW site. These directions can be adjusted to add a Voki to any site.
Step1: Create your Voki Character
1. Go to the Voki site. (www.voki.com)
2. Click on the orange Get Started button.
